National building services support contractor, Regent Samsic has added Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) hard maintenance services to its portfolio.

The move comes as part of the development of a fully-integrated facilities management (IFM) package for the company’s 750 strong UK client base.

Services are underway at sites operated on behalf of The University of Law, and The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Says Regent Samsic joint managing director, John Critchell:

“Prompted by client need, we have steadily expanded our offer from its roots in cleaning and security to take in related provisions spanning reception and front-of-house to portering, waste management and more.

“Planned asset management is already inherent in our service offer and extending the discipline to encompass hard services is another step to providing our clients with a fully-integrated facilities management (IFM) service.”

Graham Jessett has been appointed Operations Manager of the newly-launched division. The FM and project management professional has held senior sales and operations roles in the sector with national providers including EIC, Amey and Douglas Wallace.
