Regent Samsic applies ECA technology to client sites

National support services provider Regent Samsic has expanded its electro chemical activation (ECA) cleaning technology range to include solutions for medium to large scale site applications.

The first cleaning contractor to adopt the eco-friendly1.5l Toucan Eco II cleaning system across all of its UK sites, Regent Samsic are working with solution developer Centrego on a further range of models with varying tank capacities devised to enhance service delivery.

Says Centrego director, Robin Turner: “These latest planned developments are an outcome of Regent Samsic’s push for even more innovative and effective ways of delivering Toucan technology into its client base, and evidence the success of our close working partnership.”

Optimum concentration

Designed to produce larger quantities of solutions at optimum concentrations than the smaller units, the BioStream™ 500 generator is designed for large, centralised sites with substantial numbers of cleaning operatives.

The first contractor to trial the prototype of the Biostream 200, the company has been delivering increased efficiencies within overall impressive outcomes at one of its prestigious sites.

Safe and non-toxic, biocide is an ecologically friendly bio-degradable alternative to traditional cleaning and disinfecting chemicals. A efficient surfactant, it is equally effective at quickly killing bacteria, fungi, spores and viruses.

Recent independent tests into the cleaning effectiveness of the Toucan biocide cleaning system carried out under strict laboratory conditions by The University of the West of England showed ECAs generated by the Toucan unit to have significant antimicrobial activity against bacteria and spores.

Regent Samsic encourages research and development in partnership with manufacturers and supply chain sharing its ethos to reduce CO2 emissions and protect the environment.

Green site surveys

Certified to environmental management standard, ISO14001, the company helps customers meet their environmental needs by carrying out detailed ‘Green’ site surveys to provide solutions that help with the reduction in carbon footprint and service delivery cost.

“We are delighted to be able to offer a broader range of ECA systems to suit differing site sizes,” says Regent Samsic joint managing director Jonathan King.

“The original 1.5 litre model is a fabulous piece of technology but by its very size necessitated solutions be made in smaller batches than suited some of our bigger client sites.”

He adds: “these new, larger capacity products will enable us to offer ECA cleaning technology to more of our multi-site clients as well as those occupying substantial single sites, increasing efficiencies and thereby giving our teams more time to concentrate on the detail of the contract in hand.

“We look forward to developing further innovations of this kind with strategic partners such as Centrego.”
